No flame here, but we had a word in my neighborhood for what Floyd is: "n.igger rich." That's what you call someone classless with money, who thinks he needs to show it. It has nothing to do with race btw.

The origin of it clearly is. But I used the word "gyped" all my life instead of "stole" without even knowing where it came from. And "***ed" for "negotiated." What do you call it when you come up with a makeshift fix on something in the house: "n.gger-rigging," no? I didn't even know another expression for that 'til I was 20. And it never was about race in any of the above, TO ME.
