yeah nobody is going to go out of their way to fight this freak of nature. Hatton would look like his child in there.

I agree. I think Floyd could maybe edge out a decision against Williams, but no way does Hatton win against Williams. Williams is a taller then collazo, has a higer work rate, and is a southpaw just like Collazo. Nightmares for Hatton.

That and I think Cotto could beat Williams too.

I really can't get my head around it. I'm 6'1 and I think im quite skinny really but I weight about 11 and half stone. Which is 160 I guess. Must have ****e to do with bone density and loads of weird **** like that. What an advantage for Williams though!!

I used to be against the Williams wagon, but recently I have had no choice but to reconsider. I would favor him in a fight with Floyd when I truly look at it. The height, reach, and tremendous workrate especially would be a big problem for Floyd, especially past Floyd's best weight.

He is not only developing the outside game and swift jab that I thought he needed originally to beat Floyd, but his workrate from any range and on the inside, as well as his incredible proportions, are just too much for Floyd to win against. Williams would just outwork him.

It would take a big body puncher to beat Williams I think, or someone with a big punch and good skills. I thought Cintron was a good candidate until his last fight. As of now, maybe Cotto.

Pretty much I agree, but Floyd showed against Corrales that he can be good with tall people.

I don't see a repeat of that fight against Williams, but I see Mayweather coming inside giving a couple shots then retreat. I'd say he would maybe shoulder roll the jab of Williams, but I don't know. Williams workrate is important for whether he wins or loses.

The difference between Corrales and Williams is the workrate. While Corrales doesn't have a very good jab, Williams does, and he throws it often. Also, Corrales was very hesitant to get off, Williams is nothing like that. He'll throw often even if he misses, which is why he doesn't throw with as much conviction as a Corrales, so he won't be off balance when he misses.

Mayweather's best chance, like you said, would be to pop in and out, going with body shots, etc. I just don't think he would win rounds like that when his opponent is causing him to work that much, especially being as he won't outwork Williams. If he does beat him or Cotto though, my level of respect for Mayweather(whle already high) will rocket.

to be quite honest id say hatton and cotto would have the edge over williams, i like both guys style against the big guy who needs room to throw his punches.

hatton would be over him like a spider monkey not leaving paul any room to get his punches off, williams has a very, very big target for hatton to land those fercious body shots on.

cotto would ship the first 4 before his relentless stalking would wear williams down and i could see him breaking williams up before the 10th.

i dont like williams over floyd either because floyd is to smart to get caught by 100 straight punches a round, williams fights in straight lines and mayweather would be creating angles all the time while pot shoting at will....no-brainer this one.

                      all IMO of course.
