Juan Manuel Marquez vs Pacquiao ,Who Do You Think Really Won?

When i saw the actual fight in HBO, i thought the fight could have gone either way. When i downloaded the fight and saw it again, i had it 7-5 for Pac. Watch it again, 6-6. Then for the last time, still 6-6, but with his 3 knockdowns, Pac gets the win.

Some say that Pac lost 3-12 cuz JMM outbox him. But if you look at the fight, Pac was throwing more punches and landed punches almost the same as JMM. From rounds 5-12, i had Pac winning 4 rounds. Some JMM fans say without the 3knockdowns, JMM would have won the fight, but the 3 knockdowns happened, so u can't take it away from the scorecards. I counted at least 3 low blows, where was the warning or poind deduction(s).

Even the judge admitted on the mistake on the 1st round. If that was corrected like the Juarez-MAB 1 fight, Pac will win by split decision. Lederman and Merchant scored it for Pac also. Lederman had the same score with the jduge favoring for Pac. The media was split about who won the fight. The fans are spit also.

The fight is declared a DRAW, lets just leave it that way. The rematch will settle it once and for all.

Ive watched the fight several dozen times, it one of my favorites, and nearly everytime ive watched it ive scored it slight differently, but i always have Marquez winning the fight

I honestly had this fight a draw. It was my first exposure to both fighters and I came away impressed with Pacquiao's power and Marquez' talent. I felt if this was an old-school 15 rd affair marquez would've won it. I was a bit astonished as to why Marquez didn't follow up on a rematch. However, even though Manny is improved, I give the nod to JMM this time. He is just a smarter fighter and Manny gave him a lesson in round 1 of their first fight, and its a lesson that Marquez took to heart and will use to win the second fight.
