give the son of the legend some respect

there is alot of hate on the boxing scene for mexican fighters and i think chavez jr. gets alot of hatred for this reason. but i think people are starting to realize that he is a true warrior and he is a good exciting fighter. he went toe to toe with sanchez and gave the fans there moneys worth. it was a very exciting knockout and it showed that chavez jr. is a future world champion.

i cant wait to see a real war between two mexican fighters when chavez jr fights alfonso gomez. this is an action fight that the fans need to see and someone will get knocked. this is the kind of fights we need for boxing.

Is there any video of this fight yet? Anyways yeah a Gomez fight would be great, but I also heard maybe a fight with Baldomir. I don't really want to see that, I would rather much see JCC Jr. fight Gomez.

The Baldomir fight would be good. Jr. might retire Carlos (I'm his biggest fan, but I am not going to be biased here.) or Carlos might expose Jr.

yeah I with you Baldomir is a vertran and Jr is still taking his amatar thing in the pros.

people critize him but the guy doesnt have that much pro and yes part of it because he got the easy way to the business which is sometimes not bad

To bad people keep wanting to push this guy with no amatuer background and who is still very young towards a title shot already. I mean not everyone can be like Holyfield and be fighting for a world title after only 11 fights, or like Leon Spinks getting a shot at Ali's titles after only 7 fights!

Baldomir is too slow and has no power. Chavez Jr will beat him.

                I agree with you

Leon Spink got a title shot at his 7th fight ? impressive

There is the japanese Nubourish won Martin Castillo who was king pin at flyweight and one of the few who won Mayweather jr in the amataur in his 8 fight

                  Yeah.

I've seen a lot of Mexican boxers fight and the excitement they bring to the ring keeps boxing alive and interesting.

                  Especially the lower weights.

Jr is getting criticized mostly because people think he is his father.

I say let JCC get his break for a few fights then let's see if his mettle is really world championship caliber.

                  Arum is right.

Let's not rush things and let Jr. get his groove.

                  He's still too young anyway.

boxing would be a boring sport without mexicans. as mexicans the warrior spirit is in our blood and this is the type of fighting that the fans want to see blood and guts and knockouts.
