Gatti doesnt even belong in the same discussion as Hatton...

    so stop comparing them.

Gatti walked forward throwing measuring jabs, left his left hand by his waist and gave no angles at all. He made it easy for Floyd. I'm tired of people comparing this fight to the Gatti fight, that's ******ed.

exactly... hatton fights nothing like gatti at all. good power, decent hand speed, amazing pressure and amazing bodypunches.... gatti had none of that when mayweather faced him

I have been a chief proponent that this fight will get Gatti-ish late. So please consider me ignorant, ******ed, ******, low IQ, etc.

Gatti and Hatton are different fighters, but they also share similarities in both style and approach. Especially mental approach. And those similarities will come to bear after the first few rounds.

I dont see the similarities as much as You I guess...

Gatti.. was a punching bag who would throw a Hail Mary Counter to turn things around.. More often than not he succeeded..
But he was what Floyd said he was.. a C-Class fighter.. with an A+ Heart...

Hatton is More skilled and much smarter in the ring than Gatti..

Otherwise I will Just say Mayweather and Calzaghe are exactly the same since they have a few similar traits..

To compare Gatti and Hatton is ******. Hatton is just in another class. Better power, quicker, more boxing skill, and he moves his feet much much faster.

I think this fight would answer alot of question, Too early to say anything until the fight finishes..If hatton beats mayweather then it would prove he isnt in the same class as Gatti, if Mayweather beats hatton the same way he beats Gatti then what class does that put Gatti?

This is revisionist history, in a way. People now act like a BUNCH of people (writers, posters, etc) were not picking gatti in that fight.

How many people were predicting that fight as an absolute blowout? Kellerman. That's about it.

You trying to say Hatton's over aggressiveness will kill him in the long run?

See I think Gatti's will was shot as soon as he felt one Mayweather counter. And I cant imagine Floyd breaking Hatton's will.

Hatton's footwork alone will prevent Floyd from doing what he did to Gatti.
