Gatti was washed up when he got to floyd and just because a fighter is undefeated it doesnt mean hes good.
        Your on another planet
Sterling... if you are interested in a discussion, let's have one. If you are interested in silly ****, I'll pass.

If you have a question, ask it. I'll answer, or try to.

If gatti was so washed up when he got to Floyd, then tell me why Hatton was planning on fighting him if he had beat Baldo? Challenge me to prove that, too.

I will bet you ALL your points on that one.

And all I'm saying is that there is A LOT of revisioninst history because of the performance that Floyd puit on. I wasn't a member of this board at the time. But I can pull up the HBO archives and show you that many posters were picking Gatti to KO Floyd. My guess is that there were people on THIS board doing the same.

Before the fight? gatti was a serious threat. After the fight? gatti was some wshed -up bum.

            Ditto Delahoya.

Probably the same reason Floyd fought him. A safe NAME fighter.

Gavinz. If you care to go trolling through boxing sites for a fight 2.5 years ago, don't let me stop you. Have fun.

Remember, YOU are the one who said that Castillo was an A-level fighter when Hatton beat him.

And if he was such a ****ty opponent for Floyd, what was he a year and a half older after taking a severe beating?? He was apparently still good enough for Rickety.

Well Hopkins is considered an A level light heavy a year and a half after beating his only opponent at that weight, is it not too much of a stretch to consider Castillo the same a year and a half after KOing Corrales?

Floyd fighting Oscar's sloppy seconds, why can't Ricky fight Floyd's?
