He said he is more FIT than Mayweather, I don't know if this is about training harder or being in better shape but Floyd was in better shape from the start. Who trains harder? I know as well as you do, which is not much on that particular question.

It may be worth repeating what was said in the article. You don't have to train as hard as Hatton when you're already at the welterweight limit. Hatton trains hard to go from 170lb to 147, that does not improve his fitness.
There are advantages when you're a full-time athelete like Floyd. Part of it is that he doesn't have to eat all healthy food during trainig camp like Vicky. Vicky can't eat Potato chips or that weight will blow up.
I do not find it hard to believe that Hatton is training harder than FJS - it is entirely possible however, I have a little more trouble believing that Hatton will be in better shape than FJS come fight night. He might be but the evidence suggests that Sinclair will be in better shape."I hear that Floyd is a fantastically fit fighter - he very rarely gets tired in his training. But I can categorically say that he won't be training as hard as Ricky Hatton and he won't be in as good shape as Ricky Hatton."Comment

He complained about his hand injuries, and his shoulder, and now he's on 24/7 complaining about his injuries. Injuries are an occupational hazard. Hatton has had problems with his hips and elbows, Floyd with his hands, elbows, back and shoulders. But it seems to me that Floyd's injuries are a lot more likely to be a factor in this fight than Hattons, and as physical fitness pertains not just to aerobic and anaerobic fitness, but also to soundness of body, it's much less clear cut as to who is "fitter" of the two of them.Complaining loudest? Is that another of the exaggerations of the Hatton stans?
You have been hearing FMJ for years. Why did none of you mention this 'complaining' prior to the last episode of 24/7?
Clearly, he has been doing the PT work for awhile....but you never knew about it. What a whiner.Comment

Like I said excuses. No excuse at all. This is exactly what I've been saying since this fight was made. It's why I'm picking Hatton. But, IMO Hatton's fights are more taxing than Floyd's. I think the visual evidence bears this out. An aggressive boxer like Hatton has only so many prime fights in him. I think it's clear that if the Hatton that beat Tszyu shows up on Dec. 8, then Floyd's in for a big surprise. If somebody else shows up, then it could get tricky.
Alot of maybe's, If's and but's are the definition of making excuses.
That's like saying if Zab Judah shows up focused then he can beat (insert fighter here) but if the unfocused thuggish Zab shows up, he will do the Chicken dance again. Excuses......make your pick and stfu.Comment

One thing's for sure, Ricky ought to be in the best shape of his life since it's his biggest and highest paid fight against his toughest opponent ever.
I'm sure he stepped it up two notches.
No matter which sport, an athlete should at his best, barring any injuries.
I'm interested in seeing him perform at his best ever.
