Style-wise Hatton is a horrible matchup for Kos. He doesn't allow Kos to time his punches and hit you with the right hand right at THE END of his fist. Floyd is going to tear Hatton up in one week, but it will be a great fight for however long it lasts.

A lot compare it to the Kostya Tyszu fight but its a totally different fight

Kostya was at the end of the road when he fought Hatton
Floyd is on top of his game right now...
Having watched that fight several times it looked as though Tszyu was trying to counter punch his way through the fight but he had said that his gameplan was to box on the outside, presumably pot shotting Hatton before he could get off. I would hazard a guess that Floyd will try the same thing so the if Tszyu was telling the truth about his gameplan and Hatton got round it then there are genuine comparisons between the fights.

If you can't see Hatton is a bigger man in this fight, then god help you my friend.

Floyd was fighting at 130 pounds once, this is a guy who is 180 pounds but makes 140 fights pounds.

I see you have already started discrediting floyd, Hatton was a Welterweight champion.
Seriously, have you seen Ricky at 180? They don't call him Fatton for nothing, I bet he has 5 pounds in his face alone. Its not like he's 180 pure muscle, he's like Duran used to be between fights, a lot of fat. Oscar used to fight 130 as well, what's your point? People naturally mature as they get older, Floyd has as well.

Floyd will win by a decision and give the illusion that he is fighting the best in his division, when in reality he is denying the people who do deserve a shot at this title a shot by avoiding them. Then his fan boys will run around saying he's faced and beat the best and the Hatton fight proves it but Hatton is a way smaller opponent who literally no one gives a chance in hell at defeating Floyd. If Mayweather makes such big numbers by himself then he shouldn't of had any problem making big number with Cotto, Williams, Mosley, Cintron or Margarito.

I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR THIS FIGHT. WAIST OF MONEY AND IT WOULD BE MORE ENTERTAINING WATCHING THE GRASS GROW.

Mayweather is a guy fighting in a divsision 2 weight classes then what he should be fighting at. Margarito would never do that, just like vargas never did, just like morales barrera and castillo never did

I'm sorry my respected friend, althought I respect your humble opinion, there is no way you can compare the Kostya and Floyd. Floyd does'nt get hit and counters (much quicker than kostya). For the record, I picked Hatton to beat Tzsyu.

My friend, are you in any way implying that Mayweather is the bigger man in this fight?

                Let's get it on!

Not much to argue about anymore.

Ricky will be in the spotlight. He knows what he's in for.

Perhaps, his only prayer is to KO Floyd or slow him down considerably in the early rounds.

                But it's only speculation.

Ricky needs to prove he can indeed hang in there after a rough night.

Mayweather: "I'm not a bad guy"

Floyd Mayweather has insisted he has a "good heart" really despite being portrayed as the bad guy for his WBC welterweight showdown with Ricky Hatton.

Mayweather's loud, brash attitude, mixed with his constant trash-talking, has won him few fans this side of the Atlantic - however Pretty Boy claims it is all part of the act.

Mayweather said: "Everybody is entitled to judge a person how they want to do - but I've got a good heart. I never did anything illegal and all I did was go out there to dedicate myself to the craft of boxing.

"People portray you as they want to portray you. But I conduct myself like a gentleman. I'm not out there pushing Ricky Hatton off the stage or shoving him. I'm just saying I believe in my skills.

                  Good guy

"Each fight has to have a good guy and a bad guy. When I fought Oscar de la Hoya I was the bad guy, but when I fought Zab Judah I was the good guy - because he was even worse than I was.

"That's the hand you're dealt and you have to deal with it. You fight through everything.

"Everything is a struggle - but you don't let anything break your confidence and just stay focused and just be you."

Despite his constant criticisms of Hatton ahead of the December 8 showdown in Las Vegas, Mayweather insists he is not underestimating the Hitman.

He said: "I don't overlook any of my opponents.

"I always approach every fight in a great manner and I am always pushing myself to the limit and trying to get the best out of Floyd Mayweather.

"I'll continue to do that. I always train hard and I dedicate myself - so that in 20 years' time when my grandkids read stories about me they'll know that I was one hell of a good fighter."

Why are some people talking about an early KO for Floyd? That **** is never gonna happen. I can see Hatton coming out blazing winning first few rounds well but gradually over time Mayweather is just gonna outbox his ass. Floyd seems to get better in later rounds whereas I think Hatton's gonna tire and start hugging and thats when Floyd will just pick him off. Kind of similar to DLH except Hatton's still gonna be posing a big threat in the later rounds.

My prediction is that Floyd will win a comfortable decision. However if theres gonna be a KO I can see it being Floyd that hits the canvas.

                      1) Hatton is the man at 140.

Cotto, Williams, Cintron are beltholder. Margarito was one.

                      2) Come fight night, Hatton is going to weigh more than Mayweather.

                      3) Are you saying JC did not deserve a shot at Pea?
