    lol

LOL I really cant wait untill december 8th, i would love so much to see the look on this guys face( the one that made the thread) i can just imagine it.

Floyd fans are in for a huge shcok come december 8th.
People like this guy who made the tread, they will probly all sit down together just to watch hatton get his arse kicked, thely be shock first few round wen they realise just how good ricky is and how much of a prick they look on boxing scene. Then when hattons wins the fight or mayweather goes down their all gonna be ****ing gob-smacked, i really want to see the faces they pull, probly be similar to floyds.

If hatton legitmately beats mayweather, and mayweather doesnt get screwed by the judges,

Then hatton deserves all the credit he will get, and i for one will give him that credit if he wins this fight legit.

      If he doesnt win.........

then my attitude may be different.

Hatton belongs in the top 10.
Hatton did beat an older Tszyu, but it was still a highly rated Tszyu.
He also knocked out Castillo (granted he was older) in impressive fashion.
        Number 8, id say.

That's true, but he is the king of 140 division without any doubt (Even more Witter.. in my opinion he's underrated). And he is the best body hitter with Cotto. This is an hard fight for Floyd Mayweather JR.

everything isnt about PBF, and you couldnt make a similar arguement dumbass, because floyd has beaten a ton of quality fighters, or does your hate blind you?

People on here say the silliest things..

Oscar De La Hoya >> Jose Luis Castillo
                  Carlos Baldomir >> Juan Urango
                  Zab Judah >> Luis Collazo
                  Sharmba Mitchell >> Carlos Maussa
                  Kosta Tszyu >> Arturo Gatti

                  Floyd 4, Hatton 1..

Because he barley straddles the top ten as it is so surely when he loses, they'll simply make room for a fighter who at least won his last fight.

And how come Winky was still in the top 10 after losing to Hopkins, who wasn't even #1?
Because, that is Winky Wright. He's still better than 98% of the fighters out there but merely lost a close decision to a hall of famer two weight classes above him.

Ricky is no Winky and never has been, nor is he rated as high as Winky was (at #2), in which Winky obviously did get knocked down and out of the top 5. Hence, Hatton straddles in the bottom ten and will easily be bumped off with a loss.

This is his best win clearly, but far from impressive considering Tszyu's age, health, activity, and fight location.

-He followed up the win over Tszyu by beating Carlos Maussa, likely the worst beltholder in the history of the 140 lb. division. Maussa is so terrible he has gone on to lose to a journeyman coming off a 5 year layoff and then got knocked out in 1 round by a prospect. This is particularly embarrassing for Hatton when you consider that he struggled for 9 rounds with Maussa before finally ending the fight.

-Hatton moved up to welterweight and received a gift decision against Luis Collazo. Hatton struggled the entire fight and was out on his feet in the final round.

-Hatton returned to 140 to hit and hug his way to a win over a prospect Juan Urango. Why is a world champion still fighting prospects with 19 fights?

-He followed that win by beating another over the hill name Jose Luis Castillo. Anyone who knows anything about boxing could see from the start of the first round that this version of Castillo clearly was damaged goods and nowhere near the fighter that fought an epic with Chico Corrales or gave Mayweather all he could handle 5 years earlier.

Hatton has been fed nothing more than a steady diet of handpicked opponents through 43 fights and he is now cashing on his popularity with a Mayweather fight. Hatton belongs nowhere near the P4P and he will be exposed as merely an average fighter on December 8th...
