Would Floyd disappear like Naseem Hamed?

Who did he beat? He also won them separately but never unified the crown. That's like putting too much emphasis on Mayweather winning the IBF at welter weight. The opponent's Mayweather beat at 130 were all better than practically anybody Hamed beat at featherweight (Kevin Kelly was a good win for Hamed).
I'll be fair even though those 15 defenses of the WBO are on paper and just say Mayweather's stretch from 1998-2003 (5 years) was better than Naz' from 1995-2000 (when he lost). Forget featherweight vs. super feather weight and stay within the same time period. Even though I still stand by the initial claim.Comment

I feel you, if Floyd was doing that for any other reason than to uphold his ****y image I would agree with you but MANY people who known him since he was a kid have referred to him as a loving and respectful individual, he has shown respect to his opponents in his post fight interviews and I feel he is more of a professional than that, he is acting, do you think it's a coincidence that up until the Gatti fight his **** talking sky rocketed? once he found himself center stage he just went Brad Pitt on us and acted in a way that he has never really acted, he did but I think we can all agree it wasn't so harsh, even still he was showing respect in the interviews.. it's an act to keep you speculating the way you are doing now and you actually one of the guys whom LIKE him, imagine those whom hate him.. there's a saying that goes NO publicity is BAD publicity and Floyd for years already has been carefully planning his actions..
there's another saying that goes when 2 different people whom probably don't even know each other say the same exact thing about you for years and years that it can't be a lie, MAD people in Floyd's personal life say the exact opposite of what he shows to the camera.. is it a coincidence that Boxing is a HIGHLY competitive sport? is it a coincidence that there is no flare in the Heavyweight division amongst the talent there and NO ONE be talking media worthy kind of ****? nah yo it's an act, don't believe the hype.. he's a classy dude but sometimes you have to do what you got to do.. 100Comment

I actually think Mayweather will be fine. He is disciplined, determined. Mayweather may be ****y etc. However, I believe he does genuinely believe he is the best. I believe he will continue to believe he is the best, regardless of whether he loses. Mayweather is going to win, but if by some weird twist he did not, I am sure he'd handle the loss with dignity. Some may not like him outside of the ring, however when it comes to the sport, he is the ultimate professional and gentleman. He is the ultimate sportsman and has never behaved poorly.
Mayweather has enough support in his family to maintain. (ie. Mother, grandmother, Uncles (Both Jeff and Roger) and his Dad (Who loves him to death....Forget the way it seems. He'd not be so vocal about everything pertaining to Lil' Floyd if he did not love the man to pieces.).Comment

All is peachy.
It's just always a breath of fresh air for me when in the presence of some of the more positive posters. I've been lurking around. Hopefully we can be graced by your input more frequently now that you seem to be more active, even if ever so slightly.

So genuis, what makes you an expert on skill? How many fighters you trained?
How many fights you had?
43-0, and stands no chance against Mayweather?
Wake up man, If floyds **** is obstructing your veiw that much just ask him to move outta the way a lil bit and you might get a glimpse of reality!Comment

Well, it would all depend on how really good is he. If he is mentally flexible and smart, he will come back, if he is as much of a little boy inside as he is outside, chances are he will be ****ed.
As they say, fighter's true greatness shines in his defeat and how he can manage to comeback better and stronger.Comment
