      I never got into him.

Much too small for my taste.

I even have a hard time watching featherweights.

I can see that minimum and fly are somtimes weird to watch. Moreso live.

But feather... Barrera-Morales 1 at 122 is one of my favorite fights ever.

My favorite lower weight fight was kelley - hamed.

guys at smaller weights are infinately more skilled than say the heavyweights, but people dont pay attention to them and thus they dont get much credit. everyone tries to be nonbiased, but when it gets down to it, 'p4p' rankings are based alot on popularity.

thats why I have problems with heavyweights ever being rated on p4p lists. no heavyweight ever was ever as skilled as someone like Lopez.

              what an awesome record though.

                they aren't more skilled.

You need a different skillset to compete at heavy, then you do flyweight?

That's like saying Allen Iverson is more skilled then Tim Duncan because he can do more with the ball.

The truth lies somewhere in between, which is why guys like Leonard/Floyd/Robinson/Pep are considered the most 'skilled' by boxing fans.

I dunno. If I were to imagine a heavyweight with the skillset of Whitaker, he would destroy everyone.

but you make a good point and I see what youre sayin.

                    Yeah...

But just a footnote: Finito dispatched Saman Sorjaturong in two. The Thai later upset Gonzalez via TKO in the 7th and went on to defend the WBC LightFly title 10 times and the IBF crown once (he voluntarily vacated the IBF title after his first defense).

I've see a few lopez fights and was pretty impressed. I guess some of the reasons he doesn't get placed higher in p4p lists are

                      a) Few watch the little guys
                      b) The style at strawweight is so different that it is hard to imagine them fighting at bantamweight nevermind a weightclass that is popular.
                      c) He doesn't have many big wins on his resume. I don't know why he didn't fight carbahal or gonzalez.
