He said that for one of two reasons:
1) He's upset that Ricky has told the truth throughout the hyping for this fight. Mayweather lost the first fight against Castillo
or
2) One of his yes-men told him to say it.

He's fighting Floyd, and u think he was scared to give Collazo a rematch? Does that even make sense. People were predicting that Castillo was going to punish Hatton, and look how that turned out. I think Hatton was just looking for bigger and better things, than giving Collazo a rematch.
