Floyd will fight maybe 3 or more times before he retires and he is going to maximize the dollar and the fame value in each of those. Cotto, Williams, possibly a MW title fight are good choices, Margarito is definitely not.

I think the MW title would be absolute suicide to be honest.

Cotto, Williams... I really can't think of a third fighter that fits the bill as being as deserving as the two mentioned. Maybe Cintron, but I don't think so... hopefully the year and a half that would go by for Hatton, Cotto and Williams will have brought someone worthy to the forefront.

EDIT: The MW title would be suicide because he wouldn't get a lot of credit, even if he did win. You saw the way Cory Spinks had to fight a middleweight, and Cory is huge compared to Mayweather. Even less toe-to-toe action and a hell of a lot more boring if Mayweather moves up to 160.

It wouldn't happen. Williams is young, huge, and undefeated. A real modern phenom. Mayweather wants guys in his age range and experience level. Mayweather won't be fighting any of these young, upcoming guys anytime soon.
