What did you all think of Robin "Reaperman" Reid?

He was a very good fighter it seemed like, but he doesn't seem to get the love that Hatton or Calzaghe do... but that could just be because he is quite faded.

What's the story on this?

to be honest by the time I got into boxing I dont think I was seeing prime Reid. I saw him whoop Ottke in Germany, he lost on points....obviously.

I started a thread about him a couple of weeks back, the article might be a helpful one for you. I'm first to admit I'm a big Robin Reid fan so might not give the fairest evaluation of his career.

Robin was not the same fighter when he fought Lacy, anyway the victory was tainted by horrific reffering.
