So Robin Reid has hung up his gloves, in his prime a great fighter. Nowhere near his best when he fought Lacy or Froch which was a shame. But in his prime he went to the Lions den to win the wbc title, also should have been crowned champion again but horrifically robbed against Ottke and gave Calzaghe his toughest fight IMO.

Aye. A couple of fights too many but we shouldn't forget what he achieved in his prime. The fact he came closer than anyone to beat Calzaghe (albeit a one handed JC) is testament to his excellence.

That Ottke "loss" will forever rank as the most corrupt refereeing and judging performance ever witnessed. Including any GBP card, past or future.
