this is an issue of availability. who is he supposed to fight to get back on top and are those fighters willing to fight him?

I was very disappointed hearing he might fight JLC next. This is a completely worthless fight. It proves absolutely nothing at all. It's like there afraid to put anyone who even stands a remote chance of winning just to ensure a fight with Cotto.

I agree,i wont take him as a threat until he steps up in comp,Castillo is done,he wont go the distance, its crazy hes even fighting Castillo,Hatton had him like a ragdoll at 140,he should have took a Clottey rematch to take away any doubt or atleast fight a top 10 welterweight

For real, but he preys on bums and old fighters.

Clottey never BROKE his hand, he admitted prior to the Corrales fight he bruised his kNUCKLE.you should follow the sport...

and yes he was up on the score cards going into round 5...

think thats why they fight for 12 rounds,

Sharmba Mitchell- tune up and former champion

Zab Judah - undisputed WW champion, and it weird why people didnt critize Cotto for fighting him but they critize Mayweather for fight a Zab because he lost to Baldomir

Chop Chop- first southpaw and debut at 147

                Brussels - WBC eliminator

                Gatti- WBC champion

and if you look at Mayweather record as well as his ring entrance at the Oscar fight Mayweather fights for the WBC belts. He is WBC fighter and he even dropped the IBF after beating Zab.

As for Margarito he is Arums guys. Arum is an ******* only think for money because putting Castillo against Margarito is not only bad in sense of the outcome but also Castillo health.
