I wouldn't completely write off castillo

I would. He clearly had very little to offer against Hatton as evidenced by the previous fight with N'Goudjo. Now Castillo is going to move up and be in a fair fight with a more-naturally junior-middleweight? Top Rank's gimmick is to put shot fighters with name value in with Margarito to make him out to be some killer to get Margarito a big payday. They kinda crapped out when the WBO forced Margarito in with Williams, a sure loss without a big check.

Hatton would beat the breaks of Margo. Id put points on it too.


But Margo wont get a shot at an elite fighter, untill he beats someone better than Golden Schlong.

That's what it seems like to me. Antonio Margarito's struggle right now is to prove that he is more than an ordinary fighter. He's looking to prove that by fighting an ancient Golden Johnson and a worn-out Jose Luis Castillo? Give me a break.

Castillo is a lightweight coming off a KO loss at 140, and now Margarito wants him at 147. What bull****. Until Margarito decides to step up in class where its dangerous, I'm not going to acknowledge him as a top contender.

the entire welterweight division is ducking this man so he had to find an opponent at 140. tell the other welters to step up. plus he will fight cotto in june and then maybe the haters will give this man the respect he deserves.
