I don't know if that's really a fair question. Boxingscene is a boxing website for fans, and I would hope most/all boxing fans would know all those names on that list.

See I picked flyod because I thought the question was, who do you think the most popular fighter is on here.....and with the amount fo posts about him I had to pick him. He's the most debated, hated, and adored. He likes the attension thou, trust me.

This question made it hard to decide.

"Most popular" and "my favorite fighter" aren't the same thing. At this moment, I'm a Cotto and Juan Diaz fan.

The most popular on THIS forum though, should be Mayweather, no matter who you are. He's the one with the most threads, most hated on and most protected by posters. Most thought about.. So on and so forth....

Popular: suitable to the majority, frequently encountered, commonly liked or approved.

If you don't think he's commonly liked, you're crazy. He DOES have the most fans on this forum. For better or worse. This thread should have been worded, "BoxingScene.com's Favorite Fighter" Then, mentioning your personal taste would actually matter.

I guess if you want to interpret the question that way, you can. But most POPULAR on this site is MAYWEATHER. Hence the reason I voted for him.

It's Cotto or Diaz for me, right now though.
