What? What the **** is that all about?

[QUOTE=squealpiggy;2885417]I think it's much more intelligent to reserve judgement on his status all-time until he has finished fighting. I wouldn't rate any fighter all time until they have retired and a couple of years reflection has passed.

Oh , how easy is it for the debate to turn political, and I do agree with you. Sportsmen are judged well after their career is over, and in rare instances, they are that good, that they become instant all-time greats, shortly after their careers is over, and if you want to venture outside of boxing, Mother Theresa if im not mistaken has been knighted a saint, not long after she passed away.

The Taliban are in Afghanistan. And while China has a larger army, in total Clauswitzian warfare which country do you think would confer the most damage? The strength of a military is not always related to your manpower. US technology and strategic ability is far beyond anybody else's.
If the US used nuclear weapons the rest of the world would gang up on it and nuke it into the earths crust.

Regarding Iraq, if the shackles were off and the United States was able to deploy full force against the Iraqi insurgency (total war) then American casualties would be down, Iraqi casualties would be way up. I'm not sure we want that kind of situation. The insurgency is effective because the Americans (and British) are following the rules of war. The insurgency is not.
It always comes down to manpower and troop morale. Fighting a paramilitary group with a strong ethos, it cannot be defeated by technological advantage. The only way to defeat the Taliban is to convince them that it is not worth carrying on. Since their ethos is that of an entire religion, that is not going to happen.

The shackles were off in vietnam, look what happened there. Carpet bombing, my lai, napalm - they still ran away with their tails between their legs.

          I don't think they will.
All countries seem to be scared of Uncle Sam.
Uncle Sam says jump and they say ''how high''.

I belive he can easily become an ATG. It's just a matter of time until he retires, and he will be talked about for years to come.No Bernard Hopkins, no RJJ, no Oscar but Pretty Boy Floyd.
                    Just wait and see.
Oh please...PBF is not underrated at all, maybe by a minority. He is Universally recognised P4P number 1 and a definate 1st ballot hall of famer. What more do you want people to say?? He is the 2nd coming of Christ??

Anyway more and more people are seeing Floyd for what he really is.

                      Nothing more than a fake.

It's a good guess a few years after his retirement his name wouldn't even be remembered.

He beat the champions right? Just ask yourself that. on his way up DID Floyd BEAT THE CHAMPIONS?

look at his list of champions... you probably don't even know the guys he's fought that were good at lower weights. watch those fights.. it wasn't always easy for floyd.

He's no ATG yet but he'll definitely get there.
