Honeyghan: "I don't know if Ricky can pull it off".

"It's hard to say who's going to win. I love Ricky Hatton. But I think he
fights a little too much with his face
and I worry about whether his corner
knows enough to help him adapt to Mayweather's style of fighting.

"Ricky's on the big playing field now. He's not fighting a hand-picked bum
or some guy who's over the hill. He's fighting the man, and I don't think
Ricky's corner is as experienced as Mayweather's uncle Roger.

"Roger will have the fight all worked out and he will programme Floyd's
brain with it. Floyd will just turn up on the night and off he'll go. My
heart will be with Ricky. I'll be praying for him.

"But can he pull it off like I did? I don't know."

nice article, but until both of the fighters are in the ring no ones going to know how it pans out.

Who do you think Lloyd was referring to with the "big playing field now.. not some over the hill fighter" comment?

            I guess.

But it seems like Lloyd was implying that RH hadn't been on "the big playing field" before. Which would be a disparagement of Zoo.

I'm not sure how Honeryghan can justify his comment about the experience of the respective corners or about Hatton's level of opponent.

Well, I think it's fair to say that Roger has more experience at an elite level - both as fighter and as trainer - than Graham.

Additionally, Floyd has Raf Garcia in his corner.

Honestly, can you tell me that if Mayweather had beaten Kostya Tszyu the night that Hatton did, instead OF Hatton, you wouldn't build it up?
