Right I agree, the counters will be essential of course. When Hatton does give him space Floyd is going to land that right hand lead like he did on De La Hoya. But as far as this elbow push or any sort of other inside business that is not where Mayweather is going to have much effect as far as I'm concerned. If Hatton is up close Hatton is in the drivers seat, period.

For every one upset in boxing there has been 50 non-upsets, There would alway be a favourite in a fight so people calm down please

        At the elite level?

        I don't think so.

When you have two top fighters going at it there are far fewer than 50 non-upsets. Far fewer.

Try to keep in mind that favorites aren't always favored 45-1 like they were with Douglas or Holyfield when they fought Tyson..

While Hatton does have the advantage in close quarters, I think Floyd could use the elbow shove to get just the right distance in between them, pop in a right, and then back up/circle around him.

Dont get me wrong, Addison is a great poster. But his predictions are way off, he's not exactly having a good year with them.

However anything can happen in boxing, and im not one of those who is completely writing Hatton off, worse upsets have happened and its not like Hatton is a Douglas, he has actually beaten names.

Mayweather will win a wide UD, Hatton makes mistakes that Collazo countered, This is a guy who just wants his opponents to make mistakes and he capitalises on them, the smartest fighter in the game right now. Collazo does'nt punch harder or accurate than Mayweather, ask Mosley.

Again, this 50 figure is massively overblown and exaggerated.

                I totally disagree.

i think it all comes down to Hatton being able to cut th ring off

i dont think PBF will stand in front of Hatton that's almost a definite IMO & i think it would be suicidal for him to stay on the ropes against Hatton cause Hatton will lean on him push him into the ropes & use leverage to hammer his body etc

so this is why i think it comes down to whether Hatton can cut down a Big American ring with slickest Fighter he has ever fought who processes Awesome speed, accuracy ,footwork ,counter punching ,ring generalship

i still give Hatton a chance & i think he will come out of the fight with a lot of credit & pats on the back however on the wrong side of decision ,anything can happen though

I think you've made a fair point,PBF is definitely the favourite, but Ricky is'nt hype he's the real deal.....
