let's not fool ourselves about december 8th

i wanna try n clear things up, keep in mind that it really doesn't matter to me who wins this fight.. i'm sure that ricky hatton is game, and there's nothing wrong with rooting for him. i'm not doubting him, but let's face it. we shouldn't buy into the hype too much. let's not get ahead of ourselves, floyd mayweather will win this fight, possibly pretty easily, which is what most people seem to think, those are my thoughts

Personally, I don't think hype is having any effect on peoples opinions.

If it is - the hype is in favor of Floyd Mayweather.

As long as your picking Hatton to win, Mayweather should win...However if you pick Mayweather to win then he will lose IMO.

There is where the truth lies. Anything can happen in boxing.

Frazier was never expected to beat Ali, Ali was never expected to beat either Liston or Foreman, Duran was never expected to beat Leonard, and more recently, Donaire was never expected to beat Darchinyan, Vazquez wan't expected to avenge the loss to Marquez, Hopkins was supposed to lose to both Wright and Tarver, Haye had no chance against Mormeck, etc.....

Why's that? Because he got one prediction with Cotto and Mosley wrong? A decision that could've gone either way?

That's where the beauty of it comes into play. Anything can happen on any given night, no sport is as unpredictable as boxing IMO. You can be at your best one moment, and one fight can take it all away from you. (Meldrick Taylor).
