Lewis has a much better resume.

If Klitschko can unify the titles and hold on to those titles for a period of time, perhaps he could move ahead of Lewis in terms of who was the better fighter. In fact, the way Wlad has been looking lately I think he could do it. But we are a long ways off before we have that discussion.

Obviously Lewis had the better resume. But guess who's only 31 and just starting to hit his stride. One of Wlad's problems is there just aren't any huge names out there for him to beat. And when guys are hyped up to beat him like an undefeated Peter or Brock, after he beats them, especially Brock, they become bums all of a sudden in people's eyes.

Lewis has the better resume AT THE MOMENT, but Wlad is only 31 and he has plenty of fights left.

The new improved Wladimir Klitschko is unstoppable right now and he will eventually surpass Lewis' resume and go down as one of the all time greats.

The Wlad hater should make a thread like this when Wlad's career is over. ****** thread.

not really. In fact, Brock and Peter were pretty well regarded for a long time, like Brock was called by a lot of people the 'best American heavyweight', and many people considered Peter the #2 guy at Heavy, even after Wlad beat them.

their stock went down mostly after Brock got beaten fairly badly by Chambers and Peter got dropped 3 times by McCline and barely beat him.

Personally, I think Wlad has a long way to go, even though I like Wlad a lot. I mean...Botha and Mercer were both past their best and had already been beaten by Lewis years before by the time Wlad beat them. Wlad's best wins that Lewis doesnt also have is probebly Chris Byrd x2, and maybe Brewster and Peter.
sorry, but Morrison+Golota+McCall+Bruno>Byrd+Byrd+Peter+Brewster by far. and thats just looking at Lewis's wins out of one part of his career...

Despite what a few were trying to say about Wlad it's pretty clear so far

One of the most one-sided polls ever proves my point to these Wlad nuthuggers.

Exactly that's the point I was trying to prove to some nuthuggers that said Lewis fought no-one and his victories over Tyson and Holyfield mean nothing and Wlad would have beat everyone Lewis fought. And that in a few years he will be considered greater, which is ludicrous because there is no-one out there for Wlad to fight to cement his greatness.
