Oscar has one of the best jabs in boxing and Oscar is a skilled boxer and he had 14 pounds on Floyd ,, was Floyd supposed to walk through him ? Oscar used it for like 1 round and Floyd made adjustments , watch the fight again without the commentary .Comment

Floyds reach advantage will be a problem for Hatton, those 7inches will be a golden ticket for Floyd!Comment

Ricky definitely has a fighter’s chance of beating Floyd, but it obvious to all that in order for Ricky to succeed in this fight he must and let me say must avoid Floyd's tendency to counter punch all night long. Floyd is extremely crafty when it comes to analyzing and dissecting his opponents during the course of the fight. The question is: Can Hatton make an adjustment when Floyd changes his strategy mid-way through the fight. If not, expect an early and easy pay day for Mr. Hatton.
Speaking of Floyd getting on his trend mill December 8th with running tactics will eventually cost him millions of lost fans because we all want to see Floyd mix it up with a hard puncher. Take a chance by trying to knockout Hatton. Please don’t end up like Roy Jones where he cautiously tried to box instead of trying to knockout his opponents and you see where that landed Jones with his tail in the air.
I’m extremely tired of watching Floyd out box fighters; it’s must happen, Floyd needs to knock somebody out but realistically that hasn’t happened in the last two years (and counting) and I doubt if Floyd will knock out Hatton. I just don’t see that happening in this phase of his career. So, I can’t imagine that Floyd will run like many have predicted, but Floyd will use a strategy that eventually tires Ricky. If Floyd losses, I see the loss occurring because of early round knockout or Floyd will win by unanimous decision which I predict is a box office success but another boring night of watching Dancing with the Stars. I simply mean that both fighters will dance all night long without exchanging hard punches intended to knock someone on the buttocks.
I’m expecting an exciting fight!Comment

I think they are both trying to make a statement with this fight. Hopefully it turns out to be an actual fight, instead of a night of cat and mouse.Comment

As far as the fight goes a person can be told the best advice in the world but the key is they have to have the ablility to execute what they have been told against that oppponent. **** what De la Hoya told Hatton may not even be something that Hatton can do or play to a strength of Hatton.
Besides why in the **** would take advice from a loser when the winner said he didn't fight his best against that loser?Last edited by tredh; 11-28-2007, 09:10 AM.Comment

I pick Hatton to win by an ugly Split Decision fight. It will be a sloppy and messy fight but Hatton will win.Comment

Oscar wants to fight Hatton because he knows he will beat him and it khinda would erase Floyd beating Oscar , this is why he is holding out on saying who he is fighting untill after this fight , its not hoping Floyd wins believe that , Oscar does not want another Mayweather fight he is way to slick for Oscar,, if you cant see Oscar wants Hatton your as blind as a bat , the thing is Oscar is promoting so how far would he go to help Hatton win ,, the people that say if he was gunna do that he would have done it when he fought Floyd , I say not so , when Oscar fought Floyd he thought he could beat him being so much bigger he didnt need outside help , its different this time ,,, Floyd needs to get a tko to seal this , if its close and goes to the cards ?
