If you think he could've knocked Pea down or out we'll stop this conversation now, because having heard that and read your signtaure under your name, it's pretty obvious what I'm dealing with there.
that's funny, you're username is sweet pete and you have whitaker in your avatar so it's kind of insubstantial to pull the username card fiasco bull**** isn't it? i gave an argument as to why i picked floyd, and because it was what ytou didn't want to see, you went to the old username **** again, but that's fine, i'll just keep it at that, and again i'll tell you, floyd mayweather jr could have knocked sweet pea down or possibly out or by tko at 140 and lower imo because he sat down more on his punches at these weights, while pernell has never really been known as a power puncher, floyd doesn't have too much power but he knew how to break you down better than sweet pea, and he woud have broken sweet pea down at 140 imo and possibly stopped him.

No one came close to stopping Whitaker at his best. Not even Tito could KO Whitaker eventhough Whitaker was basically shot and was taking punches.

Like i said. Oscar couldnt land clean, and neither would Floyd.

Something like 8-4 or 7-5 at 135, when both were at their best. At 147 it shouldn't be too much different, I'd actually give Floyd a better shot at winning it there than he'd have at 135.

At 135 I favor none over Pea.
a fight with duran would of been good, but sweet pea is the man 147 and below

Ok then I see Pernell KO'ing Floyd in the first round easily, with one well placed shot after toying around with the far inferior Mayweather for a bit and then getting bored and deciding to finish it.

There, now we can both be morons.

im a big sweet pea fan, but he did have the tendancy to get a little to ****y and he did go down sevral times. and floyds hand speed is better than anybody in peas resume, so i see a very close SD for pea

                    I may be biased....

But I think it's a fairly competitive win for Pernell.

For all of Pernell's speed and skills....that wasn't his best attribute. It was his awkwardness. You couldn't figure this guy out.

An olympic gold medalist in Oscar couldn't figure him out. A first ballot HOFer in Chavez...who figured out another olympic gold medalist at his prime weight (Meldrick Taylor) couldn't figure Pernell out.

                    Pernell wins this.

No clue who would win, I am slightly leading towards Sweet Pea though. It's the definition of a pick em'.
