To be honest, I don't get the statements that Oscar was "faded" Yes they weren't his best years and he wasn't in his prime.

Though hell, he looked really good against Mayorga and still good until he gassed out against Floyd. He's still pretty good.

ricky's fight with collazo, i think ricky had a few disadvantages.

collazo is a natural light-middleweight, ricky is a natural light-welterweight.

collazo is a southpaw, ricky has trouble with southpaws.

im not sure, but i heard ricky was sick coming into that fight.

and i think ricky recieved short notice to fight collazo, not sure on that one either.

ricky and team hatton tried to bulk up as much as possible for that welterweight fight, and now they say that was a bad idea. last time i heard, team hatton is trying to have ricky come in a little over the light-welterweight limit, probably around 142-144, so he can keep his speed, and be closer to his natural weight class; against floyd mayweather jr.

Ricky's trunks got back from the cleaners late.

Collazo had "a bottle" in his corner.
