      I feel it would've showcased Hatton's tenacity more than the fights they opted to show did, that's all. Therefore hyping the fight even more, possibly leading to record breaking PPV sales.

      Tszyu, no matter the age or condition is a massive win. Same as De La Hoya goes for Floyd.

          I've asked this before and haven't recieved an answer, but were you the only person to predict that Hatton would stop Tszyu? Because noone else thought that the fight would end like that, noone else thought Tszyu was faded, in fact the Ring magazine had Tszyu at number three on their pound for pound list. Fancy.

            i had that fight a draw. i wonder who were the other welterweight champs during the time ricky fought collazo? (collazo being the WBA at the time)

            IBF = http://www.boxrec.com/title_search.p...ight&SUBMIT=Go

            WBC =
            http://www.boxrec.com/title_search.p...ight&SUBMIT=Go

            WBO =

            ricky said he wotn do the same as he did with colazo. i mean collazo had a fairly clsoe fight with mosley who had a clsoe fight with cotto. collazzo aint crap but he aint a class either. he just gave hatton trouble who didnt really have that much notuice because he was suppsoe to fight someone else. his biggest problem is collazo is a big guy and he tried to match it but it made him not fight as good. i htink the lighrter rickty is the stronger he remains for 12.

              Actually I did think KT was faded , he looked ordinary here sparing Soliman before he left , inside rumours around Lewis gym was he wasnt going well , I was at his Leija fight and lightweight Jessie more than held his own untill a ruptured ear drum , the Mitchel blowout was more a case of Sharmba ****ting himself and just shutting down ,,, did I pick Hatton to win no , Hatton was basicly unheard of ,,, was KT faded ****en outh he was , he was 36 yrs old for **** sake , injuries and shoulder operations and he was talking retirement a year earlier ,,, it was a great win by Hatton but keep it in perspective mate .

                It was a great win so keep it in perspective. That's important. Hatton beat a highly rated fighter against the odds and did so in dominant fashion. That's perspective.

                    The version of Tszyu Hatton beat was still a very good version. Hattons style was always going to give him problems look at the Forrest fight. The doubt going in for Hatton was Tszyu power and could Hatton handle it which he could, as the fight went Hatton took loads of flush shots and just kept coming. Tszyu was 36 but u cant take anything away from Hatton on that 1. Its splitting hairs to the nth degree especially with Tszyus record coming in. Tszyus was highley competative that night it was rickys style that did for him nothing else

                      Nobody has ever denied that , its the faded bit that gets swept under the carpet by the same people that will say Oscar was faded , I agree with your post in general , KT had trouble with guys in his face its evident when he fought Lopez way back that he never like getting hit , KT also had no footspeed this also suited Hatton as KT was always right in front of him , it was a messy physical fight and KT wasnt up to that sort of pressure at that stage of his career , great win by Hatton all the same .
