Whats Floyd doing sparring Baldomir for DEC 8??

What the hell is Floyd doing sparring Baldomir for his fight with Hatton?
He destroyed him in their last fight, so what could he possibly learn from sparring him?
He has no power, and no toughness like hatton does, so I dont see the point?

Out of all the fighters he fought, he's decided to spar the least skilled.
Surely, you would have sparred guys in the higher weight divisions to emulate Hatton's power, and skill.

Baldomit is tough, you have to credit him with that, but he's a slow and plodding come-forward pressure fighter... Exactly what Floyd's team think that Hatton is. It's a huge mistake.

They are doing themselves more harm than good.

Lovemore N'Dou is a step in the right direction. A small step, but a step all the same. The fact that they hired Baldomir as a big name sparring partner does strike me as though they are overlooking Ricky.

                Lovemore is even worse.
                He has no power.
Just keeps punching, and is worse than Baldomir.
They need to find real fighters if you ask me.

Baldomir is not the only guy mayweather is sparring, and besides, they are working on a durablity basis against a guy who they think is gonna try and walk through mayweather's shots, in a way, its a smart move imo. because they know hatton has one way to win this fight, and hatton has already made it clear he is gonna attack mayweather non stop for the full 12,

Mayweather is expecting this, he said the other day, he expects it to be a real fight for about 4/5 rounds, then he reckons he will hurt him, so i think mayweather is working on strength and conditioning to get him through the 1st part of the fight, then let his skills take over.

all very well and good.... but if recent history is anything to go by floyd will concede the first few rounds and hope ricky tires... which he wont. i see your point about baldomir and endurance and its a good one. do you think they've under-estimated rickys footwork though? because its incredibly quick, and he's severely under-rated in that department imo
