Is Juan Marquez a shot fighter already?

Despite him being the champion, is he already a shot fighter. Most likely past his prime?

Im asking because I see a lot of people criticizing Pacquiao for fighting elite but shot fighters, yet they are the same people pushing him to fight Marquez.

well i think people want to see him fight marquez because aside from the first 2 rounds JMM completely dominated him. i really am not sure if he's a shot fighter, but one things for sure pac and his team will hold out that little bit longer to make 100% sure that he is lol

of course hes not shot. he is coming off a dominating performance over an elite fighter that was alomst 10 years younger then he was. he will beat PAC too.

No, he isn't shot. He just dominated Rocky Juarez, his relflexes, accuracy and speed are still there.

lol Marquez is far from shot, if he keeps out of harms way he will beat the Pacman.

Marquez at this stage.. is still more dangerous to Many than Diaz would ever be.

Marquez is definantly not shot, but like Steward said...he's also definantly not the same fighter Steward admitted to ducking when he was Prince Nasim's trainer. (Steward admitted he avoided a Marquez bout when he was Prince's trainer) Marquez has only really fell off speed wise obviously due to age, but his brain and punch placement are still on point, and he's one of Paq's best challenges right now, and the only decent fighter Paq has faced sinced comin to the states. But sooner or later Paq is gonna have to face Guzman/Diaz (lol Juan...not David)/ or Marquez. But you can tell they're scared to put Paq in with either of the 3, goin to the least likely canidate to bring Paq harm by talking about going straight to David Diaz. lol There trying to milk the last of Manny Paqiaou for all they can.

I honestly don't pay attention to belts, but I wonder if Erik got that decision over David, would David still get a belt after Erik retires after that win? Because if he didnt get that belt.....that means a bout between David and Manny wouldn't happen this March. And that would mean, Manny's people would have no where to hide him. It would be time to man-up.

I would say past his prime, I wouldn't say shot.
