my bro and i saw a re run of the rocky movies and kind of like from nowhere we bought 2 pairs of gloves and started beating the **** out of each other...then we decided to download a fight of the internet to see how good the best boxers were....so we downloaded a fight of teh first name we recognised, Oscar De la Hoya vs Shane Mosley 1 and after watching the skill level, we were hooked....that was back in december 05....

Rumble in the Jungle. I was a young but I knew who Ali was. And I was terrified of Foreman.

We're born to like boxing in Puerto Rico, like it's in our genes. The great local boxers make everybody watch it and have great fights here in PR.

i remember being young seeing the neighbors ppv of tyson/holyfield but i had no idea what was going on (ie. rules, how fights are scored, etc.) i thought they just boxed until one guy got knocked out...

i never really payed attention to the sport until about 2005.

i seen castillo/corrales I and after that fight i was a fan of the sport...two years later i've turned into a huge fan and even had 4 fights (club boxing...nothing officially recognized)

now i been pondering on whether or not i should do it a little more seriously (as an amatuer).

im 19 years old by the way...

Back in the 70s... I used to play handball with Dios Dominicano's moms and she started telling me how her sparring sessions where going with Roger Mayweather. One day after a 3 hour game of handball, she invited me to watch her spar with Iran Barkley and the rest is history. ***** had a nice overhand right. Lennox Lewis style.
