my bro and i saw a re run of the rocky movies and kind of like from nowhere we bought 2 pairs of gloves and started beating the **** out of each other...then we decided to download a fight of the internet to see how good the best boxers were....so we downloaded a fight of teh first name we recognised, Oscar De la Hoya vs Shane Mosley 1 and after watching the skill level, we were hooked....that was back in december 05....

i remember being young seeing the neighbors ppv of tyson/holyfield but i had no idea what was going on (ie. rules, how fights are scored, etc.) i thought they just boxed until one guy got knocked out...
i never really payed attention to the sport until about 2005.
i seen castillo/corrales I and after that fight i was a fan of the sport...two years later i've turned into a huge fan and even had 4 fights (club boxing...nothing officially recognized)
now i been pondering on whether or not i should do it a little more seriously (as an amatuer).

Back in the 70s... I used to play handball with Dios Dominicano's moms and she started telling me how her sparring sessions where going with Roger Mayweather. One day after a 3 hour game of handball, she invited me to watch her spar with Iran Barkley and the rest is history. ***** had a nice overhand right.
