I was stunned when Cintron was derided for showing that he was in pain after winning a prize-fight. Quite astonishing really.

It's ESB. They're doing nothing with official stuff. Their content is mostly press releases and articles by people doing a poor job masquerading as boxing writers.

Nothing wrong with showing that you are in pain but don't you think that was a TAD bit over the top. I have boxed and have hurt the **** out of my knuckles but I wouldn't be doing what he did.

it was the fact that he seemed PERFECTLY fine for about 30 seconds, and then, out of no where, he is in EXTREME pain.

I think he was acting a bit, but his hand was definetly injured bad

If he's damaged the ligaments around the knuckles he was probably in that much pain. When I dislocated my finger it was numb until I took the gloves off and my opponent shook my hand.

Translate this", I thought it was Cintron but it was just a doctor giving his opinion....

“Pero aún si no hay fractura, la pelea (contra Williams) la veo bien difícil que se celebre porque tiene que estar seis semanas sin usar la mano y esa pelea está demasiado fuerte. No va a tener tiempo para entrenar”.

The initial tests show it isn’t broken and that’s really all we know right now. We are waiting for [a more thorough exam]. The big thing we are waiting on from the doctor is how long we have to wait before training camp for the Williams fight. We’ll know more in a few days. Kermit hurt it on [Feliciano’s] forehead in the first round. The first punch he
                  landed."
No more discussion of this **** now. PLEASE.

IT SAYS,EVEN IF THERE ISN'T A FRACTURE IT'LL BE VERY HARD FOR THE FIGHT TO HAPPEN BECAUSE SIX WEEKS WITHOUT TRAINING ISN'T VERY GOOD FOR A BIG FIGHT.
