    CINTRONS RIGHT hand was BROKEN

Whoever said he just bruised his knuckle must have made that up, cause ********boxing said that he has a broken right hand.

That might move back the Williams fight

      Ahem. Manny Steward said:

"No. No it isn’t broken. It’s bruised from what we can tell. There might be some damage to the tendon. The initial tests show it isn’t broken and that’s really all we know right now. We are waiting for [a more thorough exam]. The big thing we are waiting on from the doctor is how long we have to wait before training camp for the Williams fight. We’ll know more in a few days. Kermit hurt it on [Feliciano’s] forehead in the first round. The first punch he
      landed."

Either way Cintron said in PR's main paper today that even if it isn't broken he would have to rehab and he wouldn't have enough time to train fot the fight.

SOme of you guys would only get an injury if you fell off your couch, a sprain can hurt like a break and ligament damage hurts a lot more. I dislocated my finger in a fight and my hand was ****ed for weeks.

First of all, im not the one that said this, this was from an OFFICIAL report.

and Manny is no doctor, read the facts below:

"In other boxing news it was confirmed that International Boxing Federation welterweight champion Kermit Cintron broke his right hand during his title defense against Jesse Feliciano. Cintron scored a tenth round stoppage in a rousing battle on the Vargas – Mayorga undercard. Cintron says that he injured the hand with the very first punch he landed. The injury may cause a postponement of the champion’s scheduled unification bout with World Boxing Organization champion Paul Williams on February 2nd."

Owned? I dont use "Owned" very often, but is this the proper situation? cause im pretty sure it is.

lol, make sure ur right before u come all up here in here with that ****. haha

Well, it wasn't an "official report" he got it from. When I saw the starred out name, I wrongly assumed it was DHB. It was ESB, and not only did the thread starter get his information from one of the worst boxing sites coverage-wise, he got it from a writer who wasn't sourcing anything and was doing nothing but putting together a weekend wrap-up.

Cintron on BT said his hand was bruised. Steward on DHB said it was bruised. I'm not denigrating Cintron's pain, as some other posters may be attempting to do, but I am pointing out that the sourcing done for this thread was very rocky.

The website OBVIOUSLY. They are reporting on OFFICIAL reports. Steward was talking about this BEFORE thorough examinations even took place, he said it himself.

They obviously found a break after Steward made his statement, or this website is lying. Which ive never foudn them do in the past...
