                Agreed. It's an easy fight to make anyway, and it gives Mayorga another title shot.

                  He seems to be ignoring Vernon and Karmazin, though. I think he just wants the big money right away.

                    They're also big risk, low reward fights at this point. And in a division that he's not interested in fighting on. PLUS, he beat Forrest, twice.

                      The belt will lead to much bigger paydays for him. He has to know this. A fight with Cotto would end up getting him knocked out and LOCKED out of the title-shots for another long time. In case, like I said, he just wants a last big payday. Which I wouldn't blame him for.
