So Lewis is excelent wrestler, even better at ground and pound, not to mention that Lewis knows how to block kicks?

Lewis doesn't have the skill level of Ortiz, only advantage is boxing and he can use that for three seconds before going to the ground.

    bye bye
Yeah people, Lewis is a boxer and can only do boxing stuff! He's absolutely physically incapable of doing non-boxing things in a street fight, like playing as Balrog in Street Fighter. Don't you chumps ever play video games?

      Spot on!
Nothing would stop Ortiz's take downs like a nice swift 250 pound uppercut

Bare Knuckle punches are twice as devistating then punches with glove on em. Im not sayin Lennox couldn't smash Ortiz, lol but it's not like Ortiz can't smash on Lewis.

But was it a verbal ***** slap? Or an actuall ass whoopin? Both guys seem pretty tame and calm among other fighters..

Ortiz won a lot of fights because of the cage, put him on the streets and half the **** he does to win just wont fly.

              Okay guys, im convinced.
One dimensional boxer will beat former UFC champion because that former champion isnt capable of taking boxer down.

              You proved your point.
I guess boxer take down defense is just so good because he practiced it a lot in boxing.
Not to mention the correct timing to land an upercut that they practice a lot on guys shooting into double leg.

That's why all champions in UFC are boxers and not one wrestler or jiu-jitsu practicioner.

it doesnt take a Rocket Scientist to know how to sprawl...just cuz a boxer boxes doesnt mean he doesnt know how to do anything else...I bet Lewis can do a lil something on the ground if he had to...as far as defense...its just fighting....practice is important but some people have a natural talent at fighting in any form

just because a mma guy can take down a boxer doesn't eman he can win. one punch from lewis could knock the **** out any man. this is pure fist with no glove. people have died from punches and at 40+ your punch doesnt go. he wont be as strong as he was but your power is there no matter what. if you are strong then you are strong.

yes i do believe maybe lewis would get taken down but not with ease. i dont however think that he would just lose when on the floor like that... but i do feel that one of his punches can ko any man alive.

the debate aint whether lewis can be dropped, its about who will win. lewis ko 25 secs.
