Niether Hatton or Cotto's camps wanted anything to do with each other because they wanted to establish their fighters as stars.

Floyd didnt care because at that point he was where Hatton and Cotto wanted to be. Those were the three titlists...and then there was Maussa lol.

Maybe Hatton's problems with southpaws shouldn't be an excuse but his trainer feels it is something he has problems with so it is clearly a problem on some level. Having said that, with better preparation I'm sure Hatton would do better against a southpaw.
i guess i repect that but i honestly don't think he could beat malignaggi

It's hilarious that Vivian Harris was talking trash to Floyd at the press conference leading up to the fight, and he goes and loses to that guy.

Arum would have not let Cotto fight anyone like Hatton right after the Corley and Torres fight.

Probably not wise to fight Tszyu and Cotto back to back, unless you're head and shoulders above everyone. Why not pick up another title in your first defence of your first major title without risking it against the toughest other fighter in the division?

Hatton was losing before the KO?

Were you watching the same fight as us?

Yeah Maussa's most effective combination against Hatton that night was a pair of headbuts followed by a good rub with his glove laces.
