Pavlik Cleared To Train For Taylor Rematch

CLEVELAND - Undefeated World middleweight champion KELLY PAVLIK was certified 100% ready to resume full training today, clearing the way for Pavlik's first title defense against former world champion Jermain Taylor. Earlier this month, Pavlik had incurred superficial lacerations and abrasions to his hands and forearms while trying to repair a broken window at his home. The 14 stitches he received to repair the lacerations have already been removed. [details]

Only way Taylor can win is by early KO.

He cannot go the distance. He will get KO'ed again.

Taylor better train for throwing bombs for the 1st 4 rounds. That's his best bet.

Taylor's style is so flawed. Lets hope his new trainer can fix his problem.

Not only head shots. That reason why Taylor lost. He didn't mix it up. He kept on throwing right hands, right hands like a dumb ass. As you see in the fight he threw a new punch (The uppercut) and it landed. Also Taylor neglected the body. Im pretty sure he could have forced a stoppage in the second round, but didn't.

He knows what to do. Land that right hand over Pavliks jab.

He needs to jab and stay away. And when Pavlik gets near he needs to come in so Kelly can't extend on his power shots. If not he will be asleep once again.

This rematch is pointless, but it will be fun seeing Taylor get KO'd again. Pavlik is Taylor's daddy and he is gonna give his son a good old fashioned ass whoopin for the 2nd time. Pavlik KO 5

you guys are so naive sometimes, this fight is going to be fought at a weight that Taylor will feel better at, it isn't for the Middleweight title it's just for pride so he has something to prove here, you guys are so ****ed up by the 1st fight that you forget that TAYLOR WAS WINNING THE FIGHT, if it wasn't due to little mistakes which I AM SURE he will fix then he would have easily lead on the score cards, you guys need to throw some contacts on and stop being so blind towards Taylor, Pavlik is good but he is very flawed as well..

I can see Taylor now more than ever working behind his jab and just being on point with his punches, keeping **** in the middle of the ring and basically moving his head better, more respectful towards Pavlik's power so he wnt exchange too much with him he will just apply his own Boxing skills and win the rounds, I'll tell you this though Pavlik's height is his biggest weapon, not so much his punches, just imagine Trinidad being the way he is at 6'3? see what I mean? I can see Pavlik working behind his jab and using that overhand but if Taylor can Box effectively then I don't see him finding Jermain..

all it would take for Jermain to win is the use of skills, as is Jermain is pretty tall and has superior skills so if he can find his rhythm and play it out for 12, which I believe he can if he doesn't get caught up in them corners, then Kelly would trail in the 12th, maybe 4 rounds topps if Taylor Boxing to the full extent of his ability.. don't forget yo Taylor feels like he got something to prove, he WON the 1st Boxing match dogz he just lost the FIGHT.. 100
