To be honest, I thought Mayweather's training wasn't as intense as it was in the DLH 24/7. As for Hatton, I'd have to say it wasn't special.
Were you impressed by Ricky Hatton's training on 24/7?

urango is extra slow thats why hatton was able to use so much movement but once he got caught with that body shot that put an end to all that movement .against castillo the fight was only 4 rounds so how did he box superbly if it took him a while to find his distance as you claim.castillo caught hatton with a body shot in the 4th round that lifted him and the refs said it was low and it wasn't.Manchester itself isn't that bad, but some of the surrounding areas are pretty rough. I come from Ashton Under Lyne, Hatton is from Hattersley which is outside the next town, Hyde, there are large rough areas around the city itself. I've lived in some of the worst ones too!
I think the major deciding factor is that it's an arrogant American, as shameful as it may sound. More people in the UK dislike Americans (whether they have met any or not) than dislike any racial minority.
Chavez was more effective than almost anyone else against Mayweather. If he had more strength, power and reslilience he would have won the fight. Guess who has more power, strength and resilience?
The Urango fight was completely different to the others you mentioned. He feinted, stepped, sidestepped, moved in and out, slipped punches and boxed brilliantly until he gassed out in the 9th. The Tszyu fight he bored in as a tactical choice, and it worked brilliantly. Against Collazo he was sluggish. Against Castillo he used feints and once he found his distance he boxed superbly.
Your argument is not terribly strong. It's like saying Mayweather's tactic is always the shoulder-roll plus a right hand then move to the opposite corner of the ring.Comment
