Even the thing about "relentless pace" mayweather ALWAYS trains for a relentless pace, i mean, the dude spars 10 rounds for 6-9minutes a round, and hes been doing that practically his whole career, his training regimine is insane. Mayweather may be a grade A ******* outside of the ring in alot of instances, but his work ethic in the gym and his discipline are almost unrivaled.
Were you impressed by Ricky Hatton's training on 24/7?

Manchester itself isn't that bad, but some of the surrounding areas are pretty rough. I come from Ashton Under Lyne, Hatton is from Hattersley which is outside the next town, Hyde, there are large rough areas around the city itself. I've lived in some of the worst ones too!manchester is a rough crowd believe me lol
I think the major deciding factor is that it's an arrogant American, as shameful as it may sound. More people in the UK dislike Americans (whether they have met any or not) than dislike any racial minority.do you guys like ********** over there? us african americans, asian americans, latino americans, etc etc?????
REAL TALK: is there alot of racial hate for PBF? that wouldnt be if he was another arrogant white fighter instead?
Chavez was more effective than almost anyone else against Mayweather. If he had more strength, power and reslilience he would have won the fight. Guess who has more power, strength and resilience?Against Jesus Chavez he was tested and beat the hell out of him until it was stopped.
The Urango fight was completely different to the others you mentioned. He feinted, stepped, sidestepped, moved in and out, slipped punches and boxed brilliantly until he gassed out in the 9th. The Tszyu fight he bored in as a tactical choice, and it worked brilliantly. Against Collazo he was sluggish. Against Castillo he used feints and once he found his distance he boxed superbly.think about the Collazo, Urango, and Castillo fights, and the Tszyu fight. All his fights revolve around the same tactics, punch punch punch, clinch, rinse and repeat
Your argument is not terribly strong. It's like saying Mayweather's tactic is always the shoulder-roll plus a right hand then move to the opposite corner of the ring.Comment

Yeah, I was, but I was also impressed by Oscar's training in the last 24/7. HBO do such a great job at these it's hard to really look at them with a clear view of what's real or what the HBO guys want us to believe. Sure the guys going to train like he's never trained before, but I think these 24/7 productions are a little misleading. But I feel compelled to watch them and buy the PPV to see what happens.Comment

I guess youre argument of Hatton boxing brilliantly holds more weight than my own, youre right, Hatton is a complete fighter.

Come on man, your lying to yourself if you think that Hatton's primary game plan isnt to muscle guys around, get in their chest, and throw shots from different angles.
The way you type out the Castillo and Urango fights make it seem like hes Juan Manuel Marquez out there. Castillo looked like he had aged about 20 years in that ring, and Urango is slow as hell and shouldnt have even been in that fight since his gift against Ben-Rabah.
What im saying is just what i see when hes fighting, im just not impressed by anything he does, i dont count him out of this fight because anything can happen, anyone can lose at any time, but Hatton is not my kind of fighter, and obviously im not alone since his style hasnt caught on at all here in america.Comment

Training is not a one day job in front of the camera.
there are some days when the fighter have a day off in training and not focused and there is sometimes he doesnt train at all.
It not easy as it seemed to train day in and day out.Comment

Sure, that's what he likes to do. Just like Mayweather likes to avoid punishment and hit with countershots. But neither of those guys is stuck doing that and when they have to they can leave their comfort zone.Come on man, your lying to yourself if you think that Hatton's primary game plan isnt to muscle guys around, get in their chest, and throw shots from different angles.
By your logic all boxers are one dimensional, because they like to win fights by hitting the other guy. You know that isn't true, because there are ways and ways. Both Hatton and Mayweather are world class at what they do, but even so they can still adjust their gameplan when confronted with a guy who is stronger than them or faster than them respectively.Comment

please go check what the word redundant means and the context it can be used in. you criticize hatton and yet you have seen probably 3 hatton fights. people who suggest hatton cant box should look at the ben tackie fight, hatton put on a masterclass. also you say all he does is rush in, especially against tszyu.... to beat kostya you cant give him space and time, you have to crowd him... hatton utilized a great game plan and bullied a guy who was seen as a top 3 p4p guy... or maybe hatton should of boxed tszyu and got his ass handed to him like zab????Haha, what other demensions does he have? He is one dimensional, or did he fight some C+ fighters and actually box them. If it happened i dont care. And when you are going to insult someone, make sure you use the correct words or it just makes you look ******ed. redundant, means repeatedly excessive, you meant to say irrelevant. and your inability to speak the english language make you IRRELEVANT.Comment

im sorry i know english probably isnt your first language, ill drop it. and where the **** are you from? Ben Tackie? are you ****ing serious? you want me to respect hatton because he boxed someone named Ben Tackie? Hatton is one demensional, he has a ****ty boxing resume, and he is not on floyd's level. he gets to fight PBF not because he is the best, but because he has a ****ing crazy fanbase. I like him, but he has no ****ing chance and his face is going to be very cut up and bloody after this fight.Comment

It was a good stategy by Hatton but also Kosta was leading in a close fight in the showtime commetators score card but it was a close fight.please go check what the word redundant means and the context it can be used in. you criticize hatton and yet you have seen probably 3 hatton fights. people who suggest hatton cant box should look at the ben tackie fight, hatton put on a masterclass. also you say all he does is rush in, especially against tszyu.... to beat kostya you cant give him space and time, you have to crowd him... hatton utilized a great game plan and bullied a guy who was seen as a top 3 p4p guy... or maybe hatton should of boxed tszyu and got his ass handed to him like zab????
You must do anything to win the fight. I was a Hatton hater because of the high expectation I had when see his HL and then seeing Tszyu fight was alot different.
I think a person must do anything to win and it is alway nice to imagine what would have I dont instead if I fought Hattons's style in my mind same goes for MayweatherComment
