The heavyweight divsion doesn't lack talent it lacks good trainers

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure a lot of you believe that the heavyweight divsion is very weak and that there are no good fighters in it . Also i am sure you have attributed the lack of good fighters to a lack of talent but i dont think thats the problem at all . I believe a fighter is only as good as his trainer . If talented fighters like sam peter, david tua, lamon brewster, alexander dimentriko arent showbasic skills like parrying , blocking, slipping the jab, head movement , body punching , working you way in off the jab , using footwork to set up combinntions then what hope do they have of ever becoming competent boxers.

The Heavyweight division just sucks right now. That's why all the Rooskies moved in and have taken over since Lewis and Tyson retired. Potentially great American heavyweight fighters have turned down boxing in favor of Football and Basketball. Almost entirely because they can make more money as a rookie in the NFL than most of the veteran, top-tier boxers make in a fight. Boxing is a slow process to the top, and young kids just don't have the patience to wait for anything anymore.

I don't think that Heavyweights are done there is just no marketability there, there's no **** no more, Klitschko got MAD fans but he is VERY humble which I RESPECT 100% BTW BUT humility doesn't sell tickets, THIS is why Floyd talks ****.. it's no coincedence that Wladimir being the Heavyweight Champion and the number 1 guy there that his humbleness and humility doesn't provide for excitement and Floyd who is number 1 in his respective division just so happens to have the biggest talked about fight since it was announced, just saying yo because ME personally I don't agree with that, I get 100% thrilled when I see 2 good Heavyweights go at it, they all bring something different to the table even if just personality BUT as I said already it ain't about if I agree, nor you nor anyone but as long as **** stays like that there will be no hype up there..

there IS MAD talent in the Heavyweight division it's just no reputed name to back them up, whether we like it or not a smile from Wladimir wont sell tickets but a smirk from Mayweather will, thats just how the game goes whether we like it or not and BELIEVE ME, I don't.. 100

I think Sam Peter should switch trainers, his trainer doesn't discipline him. He eats too much, he punches on clinches, hits behind the head and gets a lot of points docked for it. Also dude got knocked on his ass three times against McCline his trainer can't be all that.

I think it's a combination of the fighter as well as the trainer that makes a great champion. There's great trainers already out there, but I think it's more of a matter of them finding a very good young fighter. Weak eras come and go, so it's just a matter of time before someone really good comes around in the heavyweight division. I hope. lol

The Heavyweight division is fine IMO, I am an Eastern European and I have never been happier with the state of the division. Americans whine and say the division is crap and all are fighters went to football, blah, blah, blah. You guys just aren't hungry enough anymore because you're living in a country where you're spoon fed and you can get anything you want, Americans have gotten lazy and soft.

There is plenty of talent in Eastern Europe, I will list the my top Eastern European Heavyweights:

                    -Wladimir Klitschko - The Champ
-Vitali Klitschko - hoping he comes back and dominates.
-Ruslan Chagaev - very tough fighter, dangerous southpaw, champ
-Sultan Ibragimov - great handspeed and footwork, champ
-Oleg Maskaev - punches like a mule, very good technical boxer
                    -Alexander Povetkin - future champion
-Nikolai Valuev - freakshow, Iron Jaw
-Sergei Lyakhovich - very underrated and skilled
-Vladimir Virchis - one of the hardest punchers in the division
-Alexander Dimitrenko - 6,7 powerful skilled Heavyweight
-Dennis Boytsov - future champion, reminds me of Tyson
-Taras *****ko - young up and coming, he's got skills
-Oleg Platov - undefeated up and coming, skills

And The Prospects keep on coming and coming...............
