Watch the Guzman/Soto fight. It's extremely hard to land clean body shots against that defense.

With that said guys like Hatton and Cotto are good enough body punchers to find the openings, but it wont be as easy.

Against the ropes it is easy enough but Hatton is also good at finding the body from distance which is not true of De La Hoya or Castillo who both targetted the body when they fought Mayweather.

to answer your question-no. The one tactical advantage a godd boxer cannot overcome is a strong body attack. these idiots around here think Mayweather is unhittable- fact is whenever he engages a decent fighter- he does get hit sruarely alot- the problem is floyd is always moving away when this happens so it's hard to land a clean solid shot as Corely did.

Hatton will be close to mayweather all night- Mayweather will look solely for the right hand potshot and maybe to catch Hatton comming in with the rear uppercut. If he can't stop hattons rush- hatton will take rounds as Floyd will obviously let rounds slip by as he did with judah and DLH in the hopes of hatton gasing.

If hatton doesn't gas- Mayweather gets beat the **** down-plain and simple!

This is gonna be a lot easier fight for PBF than people realize. Floyd can keep his distance from any fighter if he wants. He CHOOSES to stay close at times. In the DLH fight, he put HIMSELF into the ropes. DLH wasn't bullying Floyd at all in that fight. Floyd stayed close to DLH because he wanted to.

Hatton ain't gonna do **** to Floyd. Floyd is gonna counter Ricky to death in this fight. It's gonna look a lot like the Gatti/PBF fight, but will be a much higher tempo match. I fully believe PBF can KO Ricky, but I'm not sure if he's willing to put his hands at risk. He'll probably just end up making Ricky look like a fool for 12 rounds, or until he stops him on cuts.

This is rubbish. Both Castillo and De La Hoya had varying degrees of success in forcing Floyd on to the ropes and it was during those times in the fight when Mayweather looked most vulnerable.
