Golden Boy Pro Offers Calzaghe 16mil For Hopkins in USA

Bernard Hopkins and Oscar de la Hoya have offered Calzaghe a "buyout offer" to fight Hopkins in America of $16million (£8million).

The buyout offer is that GoldenBoyPromotions are the sole promotors of the event with the buyout offer being a flatfee direct to Calzaghe and Warren. An additional $2million will go straight to Frank Warren.

Calzaghe will have some sort of contract with Warren which means he can't accept this offer without Warren's consent.

I read that was just wishful thinking but that the fight would more then likely take place in vegas. There's no doubt this fight will happen. It will take a little tug a war with money issues but defenitely will happen and in the usa. Calzaghe needs hopkins and gbp money more the hopkins and gbp need him
