You all hate Floyd because he claims things that aren't true... right?

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you were a fighter would you rather "back your **** up in the ring" and end up in a wheelchair or win fights and live a satisfying life after boxing? Thats no disrespect to Ali, but why do you think fighters today value defense a bit more than they did back then?Comment

Actually I am , I just dont go along with the media and its hollywood production tactics , Ive seen thread after thread quoting articles written all with a different twist from the same quotes , Floyd says something in answering a question and it appears 50 different ways all with a big story attached ,,, if you have ever have anything to with the media you will find out they are biggest **** stirring bull****ers that ever walked , most journos have low scruples and dont care in the least about whos life they are ****ing up ,,, my personal opinion is Floyd is young and famous and the media goad him into being the brat , you got some **** writer that dont know **** from clay asking him ****** questions 24/7 and Floyd being as immature as he is is just feeding them with what they want , there are two sides to Floyd , the brat the media love and the side that the people close to him know and they sing a different tune than what you guys feed off ,, I take it all with a grain of salt , the guy is a wonderful boxer one of the best I have seen in 40 years of watching boxing and thats all I care about .
Well said mate. I also think people's insecurity play a lot in this..They see a young guy thats flashy and seem to talk on TV..For some people thats hard to swallow..They would rather hate that people than them becoming like him..Its just jeolousy.Comment

Foreman still has his health, De La Hoya does too and he making bank, Tyson backed his **** up and isn't brain dead.. of course Tyson's career went into the ****ter but it wasn't because of damage done to him.Don't take this the wrong way, but if you were a fighter would you rather "back your **** up in the ring" and end up in a wheelchair or win fights and live a satisfying life after boxing? Some fighters don't get ****ed up and others do. We could go back and forth naming guys who are half-braindead vs. guys who are still sharp. The point was: would you risk it if you didn't have to?Comment

Ali has got Parkinson disease , lots of people that never put on a glove get it , there is no proof what so ever that boxing caused Ali's sickness , the journos that bag boxing will say it was boxing related but thats just speculation .Comment
