It's very simple Demiturk, Floyd has no balls. He would never take the risks that Calzaghe and Pacquiao take in the ring and because of that he is not the #1 p4p fighter in my eyes. Floyd may be the best boxer, but he is not the best fighter, you know what I mean.THe guy is really fast , has very fast hands. but why no combinations? he rarely puts great combos, like for example a calzaghe or DLH type like flurries. he throws one punch at a time. is he afraid of getting caught ?? i personally think he has a good chin. never been rocked before and got hit pretty hard sometimes.....
so whats the deal? what do you guys think?Comment

Floyd is a percentage fighter, thats why.. he doesn't do NOTHING more than what is necessary to win the fight even if it means throwing 100 jabs a round 1 by 1 knowing he CAN jump the gun and lift his opponent off the ground with a liver shot or something, he doesn't look for the explosion because thats NOT what Boxing is, he hits but doesn't get hit, THATS Boxing.. funny **** is Floyd DOES have a great chin it's just he doesn't give his opponents the chance to test it enough, he's taken some bombs from guys who knock *****z out. it takes a talented dude to be picking apart people like that and make it look effortless, I respect Floyd's fighting style VERY much, I enjoy seeing it because he embodies the art of Boxing, it's what EVERY true Boxing fan should want to see but unfortunately we have a bunch of FIGHT fans and not enough Boxing fans which is a sad occurance.. 100Comment

Floyd is a coward who takes the minimum amount of risks possible to win. People like Calzaghe dont care how far ahead they are on the scorecards, they just throw them at all times no matter who is stood in front of them. This could be significant in the Hatton fight. The only person who REALLY knows the quality of Floyds chin is Floyd himself. If hes scared to throw combinations because he leaves himself open, how much confidence does he have in his chin? To beat Hatton as comfortably as people think he will, he needs an iron jaw, and I dont think he believes he has, hence his hit and move style. When a fighter doubts his own chin, its a surefire sign that they will get KO'd sooner or later, hopefully by Hatton.Comment

He is very cautious and wants to catch you with a punch and get out of harms way. Throwing combos leave you open for a counter or being caught so he doesn't do it to often with people much bigger than him.Comment

Lol it's so funny to me how critical people are with Floyd's fighting style.
People act like you have to engage in order to be great. It's called boxing, not fighting. What Floyd does is sometimes not crowd pleasing (to me it is) but it's effective.Comment
