floyd is PFP number 1, but .......

THe guy is really fast , has very fast hands. but why no combinations? he rarely puts great combos, like for example a calzaghe or DLH type like flurries. he throws one punch at a time. is he afraid of getting caught ?? i personally think he has a good chin. never been rocked before and got hit pretty hard sometimes.....

so whats the deal? what do you guys think?

combo's leave you open and floyd is a defensive genius. He'll throw combo's when he see's your hurt but its rare but it is a thing of beauty when he does sit down and let his hands go.

because hes not that fast throwing combinations...he's more of an explosive one punch counterpuncher...

against gatti for example , but thats gatti. and yet he was pretty hesitant.
calzaghe throws nothing but combos , against big punchers like lacy and kessler guys who are in there primes .

He's all about being cautious and precise. Combinations leave openings.

He's not very quick with 3-5 punch combinations anyway. Hatton throws better combinations than Floyd.

Against Gatti he threw combos, but that was because Gatti was helpless and standing right in front of him. He wont do that against a better fighter.

Calzaghe has much bigger balls than Floyd.

thats different...look at his combos vs gatti...they didnt evn look that fast even though gatti was just standing there....ive never been immpressed with floyd i just find it much more easy to wait on a guy to make mistakes, than to make the fight and still dominate....

"Uncle Rog" does the mitts in a weird way. That's not really combinations.

floyd got skills but hes not the best defensive boxer out there spinks or guzman could easily replace him and his offensive is laughable at best
