the difference is, everyone wants to fight mayweather regardless, guzman doesnt have people calling him out left and right at the top of the division.

I don't see the relevance. What's good for the goose...

I haven't yet seen the fight but already by what I am hearing I am dissapointed.
Guzman has never been known as a runner, I'm beginning to think Floyd Sr. is turning him into a different fighter. In the past Guzman has never been afraid or hesitant to trade and always gives it all, his last fight was a bit boring because he was trying to showboat too much and the other dude kept clinging on. I knew switching trainers wasn't gonna be a good idea but if he turns into a Floyd replica I'm gonna have to drop him as one of my favs.

Guzman didnt run that much....more like wasted half the time dodging punches rather than throwing...

Personally, i dont really agree with that.

BUT, i cannot get excited about a Pacquiao-Guzman fight in any way shape or form. When i watch Pacquiao i want to see a great, exciting fight... that wouldnt happen here.

And in order for a very talented fighter Like Guzman, who has a small fan base and small fan appeal, u really need the fans to back them up and the writers to not write **** like that to get ur shot.

So it doesnt matter if i think he ran or not, if Dan Rafael and the other writers are saying a Pacquiao-Guzman fight wont happen because he ran, then it wont happen
you're right and dan and the writers are right too.............

pac's people would be ****** to make that fight, guzman turns his back too much and avoids exchanges, no one who fights guzman is going to look good and it wouldn't be that great of a fight. it's a fight that looks good on paper, but matching them up by watching previous fights, not so good.
