DAN RAFAEL SAYS: "Guzman blows chance at Pacquiao by Running!"

"Joan Guzman retained his junior lightweight title but blew his shot at a fight with division star Manny Pacquiao by running for much of the last six rounds."

Personally, i dont really agree with that.

BUT, i cannot get excited about a Pacquiao-Guzman fight in any way shape or form. When i watch Pacquiao i want to see a great, exciting fight... that wouldnt happen here.

And in order for a very talented fighter Like Guzman, who has a small fan base and small fan appeal, u really need the fans to back them up and the writers to not write **** like that to get ur shot.

So it doesnt matter if i think he ran or not, if Dan Rafael and the other writers are saying a Pacquiao-Guzman fight wont happen because he ran, then it wont happen

He's right in the sense that no one wants to see Pacquiao fight some frustrating boxer who is going to be moving and countering all night.

There is some truth to what Rafael said. Anyway...wether he put up a devastating performance or a running match...Pac still needs to fight JMM first.

Dan Rafael, as in Dan "Floyd can I lick your piss hole" Rafael, slated Guzman for running?

He still has a shot at the bout, only after JMM and Pac though.

I don't think he would be able to make weight anyway. But yea i was real frustrated after watching Guzman vs Soto, Guzman just came across like a complete ass. I thought the fight was alot closer than scorecards indicated.

It certainly was closer than the biased commentary of Bob Papa and Lennox Lewis indicated. They never seemed to notice when Soto landed a punch.
