That was Guzman's best result. I still don't see how it makes him the premier 130 fighter in the world though. He looks like he's watched too many Mayweather Jr videos and tried to emulate his superior hero. Marquez would dominate him, Pacquiao would have a tough time with his movement and timing.

He's dull as **** to watch, there are boxers more deserving of interest than Guzman. Who wants to watch a watered down version of PBF?

Soto was a top fighter at 130 and Guzman won by wide UD. i mean come on! if Marquez couldn't handle Chris John's boxing movement and ability, then how will he handle Guzman? Marquez has only looked good against fighters that will stand toe to toe and exchange with him. Guzman would box his socks off. as well as anyone else in the division. Guzman has all the advantages over Marquez. Although Marquez may have the slight edge in power. Guzman even counters better IMO.

I don't know man...did you see the Marquez/John fight? I thought Marquez won that. Could of gone either way and with the low blows it's understandable but JMM still pulled it out IMO. He certainly didn't have great deal of trouble with the movement of John anyway. He seemed to be content at sticking his jab and countering whenever John threw his flurries. Pretty uneventful fight anyway, and if they fought outside of Indonesia JMM would win.
