I don't think so. Of course Corley hurt him, and Corley is no prime Foreman.

But still I get the sense he has a decentish chin.

But there is a reason why Mayweather doesn't engage. And in the same token there is a reason why Hatton goes right at you from the 1st round.

Mayweather is hiding a glass chin. Alot like Roy Jones did with his crappy style when he moved up to 175.

Let's not be too critical, here. I think we all know what his point is. Mayweather's chin is "su****ious". That's probably a good way to put it.

The reason he doesnt engage is because he has the skills to out box his opponents and the reflexs to make them look silly.

It has obviously worked for him. The best way to break down an opponents energy and enthusiasm is to make them miss. If they chase u and throw everything at u but cant hit u, it drains them, frustrates them, and plus they are getting tagged with crisp shots, they cannot win.

I disagree. If he took some flush shots against De La Hoya, but showed absolutly no signs it hurt him, how is his chin su****ous?

Yeah, and Terry "no chin" Norris outboxed Ray Leonard and took some flush shots.

              Your point?????????????????????

Terry's my favorite fighter of all time...but that's the nearest comparison I can make.

How he can fight the way he does and call himself 'exciting' is beyond me. If it wasn't for the undefeated record (american's love undefeated records) he wouldn't be making any money. He owes alot of his career to the judges when he fought Castillo the 1st time.

We saw Mosley **** and box. He wasn't fighting in spurts like Mayweather. Mayweather is always purely on the defensive. Not always on his bike but always defensive. A true counterpuncher.

No way he would ever stand and trade with a fighter like Mosley. He's hiding a chin. It must be a monster handicap.

Sure he is thats why hes never been knocked down by a punch before!

Fans consider a 51-50 game to be exciting, but the teams playing will tell you they would rather win a blowout than a 51-50 game. No one blows their opponent out better than Floyd Mayweather and that is why he made $25 million for beating up De La Hoya while Mosley only made $8 in two fights against Oscar which were arguably "more exciting".

No one knows what kind of chin Mayweather has because no one has ever hit him on his chin. If Mosley had allowed Cotto to hit him less often, he woudl have defeated Cotto, so how the hell can you praise him for letting himself get hit 236 times in a fight?. That makes no sense to me. The fact is that Mosley has lost five times while Mayweather is undefeated. Also, Mayweather made about $10 million against Baldomir, he made $25 million against De La Hoya and will make at least $15 million against Hatton. That is more money in three fights that Mosley, Cotto, Hatton and Joe Calzaghe will make in their entire careers. A fighter doesn't make that much money unless he is doing something right.
What a sad state of being, when money defines the substance of greatness in a man. Pathetic.
