because this and baseball are the only sports we really excel at at a high level, and maybe some basketball players.

Really started following the sport in about March, learning all the champions and rankings and ****.

Was a fan of it in December though because I got interested because of seeing a preview for Rocky Balboa. Then saw all the Rocky's and loved them. Wanted to become a fan of the sport after that.

i got into boxing in 2000, after looking and renting knockout kings 2000, and i became obsessed with it, there is when i first knew about ali and the others, i was playing the game alot of times, then in 2001 i started searching for those boxers in the game in the computer and i started reading about them until i saw espn classic they were showing sportscentury of joe louis..

after that i got into boxing non stop.

Been Boricua calls for international boxing, basketball and baseball.,, including NBA and MLB. But for the last decade I had been hooked on Boxing and the NFL. Hurting like a ***** since I am a Dolphin fan. Went to see the game agaisnt Buffalo and my stomache still hurts. Obviously went to a BBQ the previous night to watch Cotto defeat Mosley... But now back in Puerto Rico.

1994 Roy Jones vs James Toney was the first real boxing figt I saw and slowly but surley my admiration for the sport grew. RJJ is still my favorite fighter to this day and won't change because he got me into the sport.

I can remember watching boxing when I was 7 but it wasn't until 1989 that I fell in love with boxing. I watched Evander Holyfield vs Alex Steward at a friends house and after seeing such an exciting fight and seeing what a warrior Holyfield was I knew he would go on to do great things and I have been hooked to boxing ever since. So about 18 years is how long I have been a fan

I've been going to the Golden Gloves tournaments in my area since I was maybe 11 or 12, then started watching more and more on TV when I was in High School.
