However, you didn't really answer my question. I asked what you thought of Mosley's performance.

It's fine though. I was willing to ask you, and I sent Robo a message asking him - but it's not important. The situation has already been outlined in detail.

Shane wasn't in good form and everyone knows it. Like I said before; if Jack Mosley is having to give Shane instructions on how to throw his punches on multiple occasions during the fight, something is drastically wrong. Shane has been doing this for 30 years!!

You can hear Jack saying to Shane before the 9th round emphatically; "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! C'MON SHANE!! WAKE UP!"

Now, what I find interesting about that ^^^ is that Shane went out there and started fighting ALOT better. Immediately afterward. MUCH better.

Shane was not shot, he was not old.. But something was wrong with his timing, relfexes, and overall mental focus. He was up and down, up and down.

Whenever he was up - he was winning, whenever he was down - Cotto was winning. It don't take a rocket scientist to see that..

We should move on though. I know most people feel that way.

honestly this is some good **** addison.

come on man, none of yaw can give a valid blue print of how cotto is going to win the fight ... its just ...he is going to walk mosley down and make him quit on his stool ... lmmfao ... man cotto has been rocked by everyone and he takes too much punishment ...
the more cotto comes forward the more he will give Mosley chances to counter him with a vicious right hand... Cotto has weak defense and his motto is ... I will take 2 to give one or I will take 2 to...
        Accept the defeat homie

mosley didnt have a draw, he lost a decision. ur talkin like cotto fought poorly against an old mosley. mosley is still in great shape and isnt near being a shot fighter. he would be a tough fight for ANY welterweight, its ****ing SUGAR SHANE MOSLEY!! cotto fought well against a great fighter, thats all. dont take **** away from either of them, both fought well...

This one is pretty much easy to sum up. Cotto won a fight that was scored maybe a little closer than it actually was, but the odd close round here or there makes no difference, Cotto still won the fight. Mosely was by no means at his best, but as for being too old or shot, not a prayer. At times, he still looked sharp and he will trouble anyone who steps into the ring against him for a good while yet. The only reason Mosely looked so bad in this fight is the good old classic game plan gone wrong. He was expecting the Cotto that beat Zab Judah, what he got looked like it was from a different species entirely. Cotto boxed with one of the best and beat him. Mosely trained for a slugfest and lost a boxing match, simple as that, by no means was he shot.

cotto in my eyes is not great yet, he needs about 3-4 fights with belt holders....more than anything a prime boxer

Mosley's still my favorite fighter and I had it 115-113...COTTO

I believe Mosley had more to gain then Cotto being the underdog, but you CAN NOT take anything away from Cotto nor his performance. However, a rematch might not be in the best interest of Cotto, Mosley always performs better in an immediate rematch situation, ALWAYS...

With that said, I'd favor Mosley in an immediate rematch

But whether or not he gives Mosley that rematch won't affect Cotto's greatness at this point

I don't see very many fights in Cotto's future, I'd guess he will retire in 2 years or less. He needs to step it up to fight Mayweather as soon as he can. Williams, margarito, cintron... a win over them on his record will not really be a deciding factor at this point in time. They may be good fights for boxing but a W over them wouldnt do all that much to secure his future legacy.
